CHARITIES
How does being a member of TopShowDogs help the dog charities?
Lots of members adding their show results and frequently using their membership generates high traffic volume to the website, which appeals to commercial companies wanting to advertise their products and services.
Profits which are generated from companies advertising on TopShowDogs will be distributed among our chosen important dog charities.
The more results that are added then the more donations and support we can provide.
MY ACCOUNT
Do my address and contact details have to be displayed on my PROFILE PAGE?
STANDARD Members
If you are a Standard Member your contact information will not be displayed on the TopShowDogs website.
PREMIUM Members
As a Premium member you have the option to display your contact information by using the EDIT Function in your account profile, simply click NO to the information you want to keep private and YES to the information you want to display to visitors to the website.
DOGS
How do I add a dog to my account?
Once you have created your account click on the ADD NEW DOG button and enter your dogs details then click the SAVE button. The dog will then be added to your account.
How many Dogs can I add?
There is no limit to how many dogs you can add to your kennel profile.
Can I add my past dogs to my kennel profile?
Yes you can, in fact we recommend it as this shows your history in the breed giving a fuller picture of your kennels achievements. These dogs will also show up in google searches.
Will the Champions on my dogs pedigree be displayed in red?
Yes. When you enter the name of your dog the Champion (CH) prefix must be entered as CH followed by a space then the dogs name or CH. and a space, the Champions will then automatically change to red.
There are guidelines to follow so that the champions in your pedigree will turn to red, these can be found by clicking the Edit button in the pedigree section.
I do not have the health test results for my dog, can I put them in later?
Yes. You can add them later by using the EDIT DOG button.
How do I edit my dogs details?
If you want to edit or add new details to your dogs information click on the EDIT DOG button for that dog. Once you have made the changes click the SAVE button.
How do I delete a dog from my account?
To delete a dog from your account click on the DELETE DOG button. WARNING Once you have clicked the DELETE button all of the details will be removed from the website.
LITTERS
Can I advertise a planned litter?
Yes. When you add a litter you only need to fill in the LITTER DUE DATE, after the litter has been born you can then edit the litter and include the LITTER READY DATE.
I have sold all of my pups can I remove the litter from the litter search?
Yes you can, go into your account and click on DELETE LITTER for the litter you want removing. WARNING Once you have clicked the DELETE button all of the litter details will be removed from the website.
PHOTOS
How do I upload a photo?
Once you have added your dogs details and saved them the dog will be added to your profile. To add a photo click on the ADD PHOTO button, you can then browse your computers photo folders.
The photo must be in JPG or GIF format and no larger than 2MB.
How many photos can I add?
You can have up to 6 different photos for every dogs profile and litter profile, which can be changed as often as you like.
How do I select a specific photo to be my main dog/litter profile photo?
In the dog/litter profile select add/edit photos, then select the photo you want to be the main photo and select choose action and make main image.
Can I add a different photo for every show result I add?
Yes, each time you add a show result you can add a different photo of the dog.
How do I resize my photo ready for upload?
The quickest and easiest way to resize your photo is to use the FREE online photo resize website www.picresize.com , use the QUICK RESIZE feature, select your photo from your computer and choose CUSTOM SIZE set the width at 300 pixels and select PIXELS, then click RESIZE PIC!

How many show results can I add to TopShowDogs?
You can add as many results as you like for all of your dogs. We want to provide the most comprehensive dog show results website available, so we encourage everyone to join and add every show result for all their dogs. It’s FREE every time and is a great way to show off your dogs and their show success to the world.
Do I have to be a class winner to add my show result?
NO you can add all your placings from 1st through to V.H.C
Do I have to include a photo when I add my show result?
No adding a photo is optional. TopShowDogs would like you to include a photo of your dog taken after his win or placing on the day of the show, if you do not have one we still want you to add your result. You can always add a photo later.
How long will my show wins and placings be viewable on the show results search?
All show results remain on the website for future reference by yourself and visitors to the website.
I cannot find the show I want to add my results to?
We try to include all General and Breed club shows, both Championship and Open if we have missed a show please let us know and we will include it.
